Gati Shakti University and GSFC University Sign MoU
Vadodara : In a significant move to boost development in Vadodara, Gati Shakti University, a Central University, and Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals (GSFC) University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to foster scientific, cultural, technological, and industrial cooperation.
The MoU was signed by the heads of GSFC University and Gati Shakti University, focusing on the all-round development of Vadodara. The collaboration will create a cluster involving educational institutions, industry, trade organizations, and the government. This initiative will promote various activities to facilitate institutional development, knowledge, and innovation across Vadodara.
The partnership will also host seminars to integrate the latest technology and digitalization, ensuring the preservation and development of the city's local heritage, traditions, culture, and scientific ethos. Workshops on mutual interests, research, education issues, and thought leadership will be conducted. Additionally, dual degree programs at undergraduate, MPhil, and PhD levels will be developed, offering opportunities for national and international projects and sponsored research.
GSFC University, established by Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited through the GSFC Education Society, began in 2015 with two programs and 141 students. Today, it offers 27 programs to 2,152 students. Gati Shakti University, founded in 2022, is another key player in this partnership.
The MoU signing event was attended by Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti University Manoj Chaudhary and GSFC University professors, including GR Sinha.
