Audio Evidence Surfaces in Monica Suicide Case in Surat

A married woman from Mota Varachha in Surat city died after ingesting poison, and her father subsequently filed a case of abetment to suicide against her in-laws. During the investigation, an audio clip of Monica's conversation with her father came to light, in which Monica reportedly stated that something had been mixed in her food.
According to Monica's father, her husband, Tenish Vekaria, who owns a diamond business in Israel, forced her to give him a divorce as he was having an affair with another woman. Her mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and Nandoi Jasmine Padaria also mentally tortured her for two months, which Monica had confided to her father. Monica had called her father and claimed that they would kill her and that her mother-in-law had given her something to drink.

One of Monica's sisters-in-law is a government doctor in Tapi district, and the other is a Mamlatdar. The Surat Uttaran police have requested permission from authorities to arrest both of them after registering the complaint.
