Amit Shah says PoK is ours, we will take it
Kolkata, May 15 (HS): union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at an election rally in Shrirampur in Hooghly district on Wednesday. He said that Mamata, who came to power on the promise of Maa, Mati, Manush, is now supporting Mullahs, Madarsa and Mafia.
Shah said that here the Imams are given monthly salaries, but the priests and temple caretakers do not get anything. Though there is no hindrance in Tajiya, there are regular hindrances in carrying out immersion processions on Durga Puja and Kali Puja. Should this be allowed to continue? He said that Mamata government stops Durga Puja.
He said, "Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) is ours and we will take it. Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee, if you want to be afraid then keep being afraid, this PoK belongs to India and we will take it."
He said that Mamata and Congress-Syndicate had said that Article 370 should not be removed. "When I asked in Parliament why not remove it, they said that rivers of blood would flow."
This is Narendra Modi's rule. It's been five years, stop making excuses for the rivers of blood, no one has the courage to throw a pebble. By removing Article 370, Modi joined the entire Kashmir with India forever. When the Congress-led UPA was in power, there used to be a strike in Kashmir. Today there is a strike in PoK, earlier slogans of independence were raised in Kashmir, now slogans of independence are raised in PoK. Earlier, there was stone pelting in Kashmir, today there is stone pelting in PoK, he said.
Shah said that 2.11 crore tourists have visited Kashmir and created a new record and the price of flour in PoK has created a record but Mani Shankar Aiyar and Farooq Abdullah are trying to scare the country that Pakistan has atom bomb.
"Don't talk about PoK. Today I say to the land of Shrirampur that Rahul, if you want to be afraid then keep being afraid, Mamata Banerjee if you want to be afraid then keep being afraid, this POK belongs to India and we will take it," he roared.
Shah warned Mamata that people involved in scams would not be spared. He said that the Central Government gave ?9 lakh crore to the West Bengal Government which was eaten by the goons of Mamata's nephew. Only Modi ji can save the state from sinking into chit fund scam, teacher recruitment scam, municipal corporation recruitment scam, ration scam, he added.
