India Supports Palestine's UN Membership Bid

United Nations : India has thrown its support behind Palestine's bid for full membership in the United Nations by voting in favor of a draft resolution at the UN General Assembly. The resolution, presented during a special session chaired by the United Arab Emirates, President of the General Assembly for May, garnered 143 votes in favor, including India's, while 9 member states voted against and 25 abstained.
