Minister of State for Education Inaugurates New Primary School Building in Surat

Minister of State for Education Prafullabhai Pansheriya recently conducted the bhoomi pujan for a new primary school building in Haldharu village, Kamrej tehsil. The construction, estimated to cost Rs 40 lakh, will benefit the 229 students currently enrolled in classes 1 to 8 at the Surat Zilla Panchayat Shiksha Samiti-managed Haldharu Primary School.

Under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan initiative, the school will receive five new rooms, including two smart classes. These modern facilities aim to provide students with a global-level education.

During the ceremony, the minister announced that the government, under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's leadership, has approved 10,000 new classrooms for various schools and issued work orders. Over the next 18 months, an additional 15 to 20 classrooms are expected to be established.

The event was attended by District Panchayat members Bhartiben Rathod and Manjuben Rathod, Tehsil Panchayat President Balwantbhai, Kamrej Tehsil Executive President Rasikbhai, Sarpanch Jayeshbhai, Pramukh Hirenbhai Patel, Dhirubhai, village leaders, villagers, school teachers, and students.
