Surat - A three-year-old child, Sachin Prasad, tragically lost his life after falling into a drain in the Navagam-Dindoli area while playing with his sister. The sister managed to escape and alerted their parents, who rushed to the scene.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, Mayor Hemali Boghavala and the fire department arrived at the site to assist in the rescue. Due to congested roads, fire engines were unable to reach the location. Once the fire department arrived, the child was retrieved from the drain and immediately taken to Smimmer Hospital by the mayor in her car.
Despite efforts by the emergency department doctors, the child could not be saved and passed away during treatment. The tragic accident has left the community mourning the loss of a young life.
