Gujarat ATS raids have led to the dismantling of three drug factories, including one near Gandhinagar, seizing 25kg of synthetic drugs and raw materials. The factories were part of a network supplying drugs from Gujarat to Rajasthan. Eight arrests have been made in connection with the case.
The Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has made significant strides in combating drug trafficking by uncovering three drug manufacturing facilities, including one near Gandhinagar. The raids resulted in the seizure of 25 kilograms of synthetic drugs and raw materials, highlighting the magnitude of the illegal drug trade in the region. Investigations revealed that the drugs manufactured at these facilities were being supplied from Gujarat to Rajasthan.
The breakthrough came after the Gujarat ATS received intelligence about drug processing activities in the state, although the exact locations were initially unknown. After a prolonged investigation, concrete information was obtained regarding the production of synthetic drugs at a factory near Gandhinagar. Following the lead, the ATS raided the facility, leading to the seizure of the illicit drugs and the arrest of eight individuals involved in the operation.
Further investigations revealed that similar drug manufacturing operations were underway at two locations in Rajasthan. Acting swiftly, the ATS conducted raids at these locations, resulting in the shutdown of two more drug factories.
The successful operations by the Gujarat and Rajasthan ATS have dealt a significant blow to the drug trafficking network in the region. The arrests made in connection with these raids underscore the authorities' commitment to eradicating drug-related crimes and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
