Surat's Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pal is set to conduct an e-auction for the preferred numbers in the new series of two-wheelers, specifically for the GJ-05 TB series. The auction will include golden and silver categories for motorcycles, allowing owners to select unique numbers for their vehicles.

Registration for the e-auction will take place from May 2 to May 4, with the actual bidding scheduled to occur between May 4 and May 6. Interested vehicle owners can register on the http:/parivartan.gov.in/fancy website, where they will need to create a user ID and password to participate in the auction, following the guidelines provided by the Court of Vehicle Transaction Commissioner.

To obtain their preferred number, applicants must submit their request within seven days from the date of the vehicle's sale invoice or the date of insurance, whichever comes first. The application will remain valid for 60 days. If the applicant does not receive their preferred number within this period or if no number is allocated from the available options, the number will be assigned randomly after 60 days.
