Arjun Meghwal Hails Supreme Court's Decision on EVM and VVPAT

New Delhi - Union Minister and BJP leader Arjun Ram Meghwal lauded the Supreme Court's recent decision regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT), calling it a historic moment.

Speaking at a press conference at the Central Office on Friday, Meghwal criticized opposition parties, alleging that they only raise concerns about EVMs when they lose elections, questioning their faith in democratic institutions.

He highlighted the BJP's celebration of the 'Our Constitution, Our Respect' program across the country, commemorating 75 years of the Constitution's implementation. Meghwal accused Congress and its allies of spreading misinformation about the BJP government, stating that they fail to acknowledge the government's commitment to the Constitution.

Meghwal also criticized Congress for allegedly prioritizing vote bank and appeasement politics, accusing them of attempting to provide religious-based reservations while neglecting the rights of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), and disrespecting the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Constitution.
