In a surprising turn of events, CA Mitish Modi, the vice-president election candidate for the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), has withdrawn his candidature to support Nikhil Madrasi. This decision, made in the overall interest of the Chamber, has been hailed as a commendable move.

The decision was finalized after Nikhil Madrasi, along with his supporters, met with CA Mitish Modi on Friday. The meeting was attended by several prominent figures including CA Akshay Modi, Jagdish Revdiwala, and Salil Upadhyay, among others.

The Nikhil Madrasi Support Team expressed their gratitude and congratulated CA Mitish Modi for his mature decision. With this development, only two candidates remain in the electoral fray for the post of Vice President of the Chamber. If the other candidates choose to remain in the election, a contest will be held between the two candidates at SGCCI's Platnium Hall in Sarsana on Sunday.
