India emerged as the top improver among G-20 nations, showcasing a significant 14% year-on-year improvement in the average ranking of its universities.

"This is encouraging to see," Prime Minister Modi wrote. "Our government's focus on research, teaching, and innovation on a large scale is paying off. This emphasis will only deepen in the coming times, further benefiting our youth."

The positive news follows praise from QS University Rankings Chairman Nunzio Quacquarelli. In a LinkedIn post, Quacquarelli highlighted India's remarkable progress, crediting visionary policies like the National Education Policy 2020 championed by Prime Minister Modi. Quacquarelli also mentioned having met with the Prime Minister to discuss global trends in higher education.
