Surat Police Raid Electronics Shop Uncovers Black Market Gas Operation

Surat Police have busted an illegal gas refilling operation that was being run under the cover of an electronics shop in the Kapodra area of the city. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided Chamunda Electronics Service located in Deen Dayal Colony. They discovered that instead of repairing electronics, the shop was illegally refilling domestic gas cylinders. The refilled cylinders were then being sold at inflated prices to people who did not have registered gas connections.

During interrogation, the two accused revealed that they were operating under the guise of Chamunda Electronics and Gas Service. Police seized refilling cylinders, empty cylinders, and gas refilling machines from the shop. Kapodra police have arrested both the accused and are taking legal action against them.
