Tragedy Strikes AAP Councilor's Family: Son Dies in Surat Bungalow Fire
17-year-old Prince Kachhadia succumbs to fire and smoke in a tragic incident
In a heartbreaking turn of events, Prince Kachhadia, the 17-year-old son of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Jitendrabhai Kachhadiya, lost his life in a fire that engulfed their bungalow in the Varachha area of Surat. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, led to a frantic effort by the family to escape the blaze, resulting in six members jumping to a neighboring house to save themselves.
The Kachhadia family resides in the Ananddhara Society in Mota Varachha area, living together in a two-storey bungalow. With the elder son already pursuing business after completing his studies, Prince was the younger son and was currently in his final year of high school, preparing for the Class 12 board exams.
The fire broke out on the first floor of the bungalow around 2 o'clock in the morning, quickly escalating and filling the house with smoke. While no one was on the first floor at the time, the entire family was asleep on the second floor. The commotion caused by the fire awakened the family, and in the chaos, Prince became trapped in his room due to the smoke.
Despite the valiant efforts of the family to escape, Prince was unable to make it out and was critically injured. The fire department was alerted and dispatched a large number of fire brigades to the scene. After a strenuous effort, the fire was finally brought under control, but tragically, Prince was found in a critical condition and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Smeer Hospital.
The untimely death of Prince has plunged the Kachhadia family into mourning, with the loss of their youngest member leaving a deep void in their lives.
