Missing Toddler Reunited with Father in Surat: Police Applaud Quick Action
Surat: A young girl in Surat is safe and sound after being found by police, just hours after she went missing from her father's side.
The two-and-a-half-year-old girl's father, a scrap dealer, had taken her with him to work on Monday morning. He left her briefly near his lorry around 10 am, but when he returned, she was gone.
The distraught father immediately filed a complaint with the Khatodara police. Acting swiftly, the police formed a team with the Pandesara police and launched an investigation. They reviewed footage from over 40 CCTV cameras and deployed informers to search for the girl.
Their efforts paid off quickly, leading them to apprehend Vikram Badelal Yadav, a resident of Panchavati Society in Pandesara, along with the missing girl. During questioning, Yadav reportedly stated he felt an attachment to the girl and considered her his own.
The Khatodara police have registered a case against Yadav, and the girl has been reunited with her father. This case highlights the commendable work of the Surat police, who acted promptly and efficiently to ensure the child's safety and bring the suspect to justice.
