A heartwarming morning puja turned into a devastating tragedy in Surat's Varachha area on [date], when a gas cylinder leak triggered a fire, claiming the life of a mother and injuring her son and daughter-in-law.
Kamlaben Kantibhai Chaludiya, 58, was performing a puja in her home temple when the incident unfolded. Her son, Ankit, had just replaced the empty gas cylinder and was changing the regulator when a leak occurred. Sparks from a nearby diya ignited the escaping gas, resulting in a sudden fire.
Kamlaben, caught in the flames, sustained severe burns. Ankit and his wife, who were also in the vicinity, suffered minor injuries. All three were rushed to the hospital, but sadly, Kamlaben succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
