Vadodara Company Designs Interiors for Vande Bharat Metro Project
A New Era of Connecting Small Cities with Sleek and Efficient Trains
A new chapter has been opened in India's railway system as the production of semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains has started at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. The trains, with a capacity of 16 coaches, are part of the Make in India initiative and will connect small cities across the country.
As per the media report, a Vadodara-based company has designed the interiors of 13 trains, each with 8 coaches. Ashish Patel, CEO of Hindustan Fiber Glass, Vadodara told media that an 8-coach train, cargo and sleeper coaches are being worked on in Vande India. Only the interior has changed in the sleeper coach. Designs are being prepared for a cargo train that will give a new boost to cargo and usher in a new era. This new project will provide an efficient and comfortable mode of transportation for passengers traveling between small cities, with its sleek plane-like design.
With the support of material supply and production increasing from April, this project holds the promise of boosting the Indian economy and providing a more efficient mode of transportation for its citizens.
