The document verification process for the recruitment of 554 personnel on a contractual basis for 11 months by the Health Department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation has been ongoing for six days. The process ended on Friday, March 24. The recruitment includes 106 public health workers and 448 male field workers. Out of the 12,804 applications received, 6,089 were accepted and 6,715 were disqualified.
A total of 2,000 candidates were called for document verification, with 780 candidates appearing so far. Among them, 255 were for Public Health Worker and 525 for Field Worker. The merit list will be prepared based on qualification and other factors, and selection will be made accordingly. The recruitment of 554 health workers is expected to be completed before the 11-month contract of the existing health workers expires in June. These workers will be responsible for controlling vector-borne and water-borne diseases.
