CM Praises Gujarat's Growth, Emphasizes National Initiatives
Bhavnagar : Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel marked a significant day for Bhavnagar on Sunday, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for public welfare development projects worth a staggering ₹575.99 crore. The projects encompass both the city and the district, aiming to bolster progress across various sectors.
The ceremony began with a traditional puja ritual at the new collector office under construction in Vidyanagar. Following this, the Chief Minister electronically launched and inaugurated projects from various departments at the Jhaverchand Meghani Auditorium.
In his address, Chief Minister Patel lauded the "Gujarat model" for its nationwide and international recognition. He attributed this success to the Prime Minister's vision, which has guided Gujarat's development for the past two decades. "Development projects worth crores have become commonplace now," he affirmed, highlighting the efficient allocation and utilization of funds for high-quality infrastructure and services.
He further elaborated on how Gujarat, unlike the rest of the country, previously competed on a global stage, setting an exemplary precedent. This, he believes, has instilled hope for India's future worldwide. He concluded by urging the audience to adopt and integrate the Prime Minister's nine key initiatives into their lives, emphasizing cleanliness, health, yoga, sports, digital payments, addiction-free living, local products, and food grain promotion.
MLA and former Education Minister Jitubhai Vaghani, Mayor Bharatbhai Barad, and District Collector R.K. Mehta expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his dedication to Bhavnagar's development. They acknowledged the projects as catalysts for a prosperous future for the city and district.
The inauguration of these significant projects marks a major step towards Bhavnagar's continued growth and progress. With a focus on public welfare and alignment with national initiatives, the future for this vibrant city in Gujarat looks promising.
