Sarojben Chandanbhai Rathod, a 40-year-old woman who helps support her family financially by doing household work, was returning home from work in Parle Point when the incident happened. According to reports, she got off one bus near Athwagate and boarded another blue bus, number 204 GJ-05-BX-3522. As she was boarding, her fingers on her left hand got caught in the closing door.

Seeing the woman in distress, the bus driver and passengers quickly rushed to help. They managed to pull Sarojben's fingers free from the door, but her hand was injured.

Instead of continuing on his route, the bus driver, in a commendable act of kindness, decided to take Sarojben to the New Civil Hospital for treatment. He drove the bus, full of passengers, to the hospital, ensuring that Sarojben received the medical attention she needed.

Sarojben was treated at the New Civil Hospital for her injuries. Her family expressed their gratitude to the bus driver and passengers for their help in getting her to the hospital quickly.
