SURAT - A woman's hand got stuck in the door of a bus while boarding in Surat on Sunday evening, but thanks to the quick action of the bus driver and the help of passengers, she received immediate medical attention.
Sarojben Chandanbhai Rathod, a 40-year-old woman who helps support her family financially by doing household work, was returning home from work in Parle Point when the incident happened. According to reports, she got off one bus near Athwagate and boarded another blue bus, number 204 GJ-05-BX-3522. As she was boarding, her fingers on her left hand got caught in the closing door.
Seeing the woman in distress, the bus driver and passengers quickly rushed to help. They managed to pull Sarojben's fingers free from the door, but her hand was injured.
