Prime Minister Inaugurates 14th Edition of Aero India 2023 in Bengaluru
Showcases India's Growing Potential in the Aerospace Industry
Bengaluru - Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 14th edition of the five-day Aero India 2023 at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka in Bengaluru on Monday. This marks the 14th time that Karnataka is hosting the show, which has broken all its previous records. Exhibitors from India and abroad are participating in the program, including Indian MSMEs and startups, as well as well-known companies from around the world.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that defense is a complex area that involves technology, market, and vigilance. He stated that the government aims to increase the export figure from $1.5 billion to $5 billion by 2024-25. He also highlighted that the presence of about 100 countries in this event demonstrates the increased trust in India's potential.

Along with the air show, an exhibition has been organized in an area of 35,000 square feet. Foreign Minister and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the Air Force CEO, and 98 prominent foreign dignitaries are participating in the event. The Aero India 2023 serves as a testament to India's growing potential in the aerospace industry and its increasing participation in the global aerospace community.
