Gujarat Gears Up for MSME Conclave: Focused Discussions on Tech Adoption and Women Entrepreneurship

Gandhinagar - In a bid to foster innovation, digitalization, and inclusive growth, the Industries Commissionerate of Gujarat is set to host the MSME Conclave at Mahatma Mandir Convention Hall on January 12. The event, comprising three sessions, aims to explore the dynamic landscape of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
Inaugural Session: The opening session will witness discussions led by officials from both the Central and Gujarat governments, delving into the MSME ecosystem and its crucial role in realizing the 'Develop India @ 2047' vision.
Tech Adoption for Growth: Following the keynote addresses, the conclave will feature a panel discussion themed 'Driving Growth through Tech Adoption.' The discourse will focus on leveraging innovation and digitalization for the enhancement of the MSME sector. Key areas of emphasis include formalization of enterprises, equity financing, digital enablement, fintech, credit access, green technology, quality certification, zero effect-zero defect, circular economy, and supply chain management.
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Another pivotal panel discussion, under the theme 'Empowering Women Entrepreneurs for Inclusive Growth,' will provide a platform for distinguished personalities to share insights on women entrepreneurship. Topics will range from overcoming barriers faced by women to exploring challenges and opportunities relevant to women entrepreneurs. The session will also incorporate experiences of individuals from the SC/ST community and persons with disabilities in the MSME sector.
Insights from National and International Experts: Eminent speakers from national and international levels, think tanks, multilateral agencies, government bodies, and academic institutions will share their valuable insights on how Gujarat can harness opportunities through collaboration and innovation. The conclave will witness participation from key leaders, including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Industries Minister Balwant Singh Rajput, Minister of State for Industries Harsh Sanghvi, and Minister of State for MSME Jagdish Vishwakarma, offering their perspectives on the state's economic development through the MSME sector.
