Surat : SGCCI Gears Up for Food & Agritech Expo 2024: Minister Assures Support for Agri-Business Growth
Surat : In a bid to empower entrepreneurs and showcase advancements in food processing and agriculture, the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) is gearing up for its "Food & Agritech Expo 2024." Scheduled for February 10-12 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, the event promises a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and exploring growth opportunities.
Leading the charge, K.B., Chairman of the Expo and Paresh Bhatt, CEO of Piplia and SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84, recently met with Raghavji Patel, Minister of Agriculture for the Government of Gujarat. During the meeting, the Chamber representatives extended a warm invitation to Minister Patel to grace the Expo with his presence.
"The Food & Agritech Expo aims to be a guiding light for entrepreneurs in the food processing and agriculture sector," explained K.B. "Through detailed information about the latest technologies, equipment, and market trends, we hope to empower participants and stimulate business growth."
The three-day event will be a dynamic showcase of diverse offerings. Visitors can expect to encounter exhibitors representing food processing and manufacturing units, bakery items, juice and pulp producers, organic farmers, salt wafer manufacturers, electronics companies, horticulture specialists, and animal husbandry professionals.
Beyond stalls and product displays, the Expo will host engaging seminars on various food-related topics. Experts will offer valuable insights to food processing industrialists, manufacturers, traders, entrepreneurs, and members of food associations. Discussions will cover everything from identifying in-demand food products for export to different global markets to leveraging government schemes for business development.
