He commented on the progress made in the last five years, highlighting the advancements in technology that have helped Gujarat become a safer state compared to 22 years ago.
Congress MLA CJ Chavda verbally attacked Patel following his praise of the Home Department, sarcastically congratulating the state police and pointing out that people who were once accused of treason now talk about patriotism. In response, Patel argued that it was not treason against him, but rather sedition, and questioned how Congress could judge his patriotism. He further stated that he and his supporters are the descendants of a Sardar, a fact which he believes Congress does not acknowledge.
