PM Modi's Suggestion Sparks Action: VNSGU Gears Up for Interpretation & Translation Courses

Surat, Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Surat has sparked a positive development in the field of education. Following his suggestion to introduce interpretation and translation courses at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), the state government and the university have swiftly moved into action.

Today, an important meeting held under the chairmanship of State Education Minister Prafulla Panseria at VNSGU focused on implementing the Prime Minister's vision. Vice Chancellor Kishore Singh Chavda and the university team actively participated in the discussion, exploring ways to launch these courses in the near future.

"Taking heed of Prime Minister Modi's call, we've convened this urgent meeting to expedite the process of starting interpretation and translation courses at VNSGU," Minister Panseria stated. The in-depth discussions between the university administration and the government officials centered on designing and structuring the curriculum for these courses.

The initiative to introduce these courses stems from Surat's thriving diamond trade. "While ships from 84 nations previously visited Surat for trade, the Diamond Bourse will now attract people from 150 countries," explained a university representative. "Consequently, the influx of foreigners will rise, necessitating bridges of communication through language expertise."

VNSGU has expressed keen interest in establishing these courses, recognizing the potential to provide not only a valuable service to the community but also new opportunities for students. Minister Panseria commended the university's enthusiasm, stating, "I congratulate VNSGU for actively pursuing this initiative."

The Prime Minister's suggestion has set the wheels in motion for a significant development in Surat's educational landscape. With the state government and VNSGU working together, the introduction of interpretation and translation courses promises to enhance communication, foster cultural understanding, and open doors for future generations.
