The incident was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media. This follows a recent increase in heart attack cases across the state, including several deaths among young individuals engaged in sports activities.
The incident took place in Rajyata village of Morva Hadaf taluka. As the young man danced with the groom on his shoulders, both suddenly fell to the ground. The young man's friends rushed him to the hospital, but he died en route. The joyous atmosphere of the wedding was replaced with mourning as the tragedy unfolded.
The video of the incident, showing the young man collapsing while dancing to the DJ's music, has been widely circulated on social media. The young man was reported to be around 27 years old.
