Rajkot : Cheating Attempts Foiled in Gondal's 10th Examination

Rajkot: A high school student in Gondal, Rajkot district, has been charged with misconduct after being caught using a mobile phone during the 10th examination. The cheating attempt was discovered through CCTV surveillance, leading to swift action by the invigilator and education authorities.

Cases of cheating have also been registered against three other candidates in Junagadh city and Keshod during the same examination period. Despite these instances of malpractice, many examinees reported feeling relieved, as the question papers for both the 10th and 1st class exams were relatively easy.

The incident in Gondal occurred at BAPS Swaminarayan Girls High School, where the candidate, Jignesh Parghi, was found to be using his mobile phone during the Basic Mathematics paper of the 10th and 12th examinations. Upon noticing the infraction, the invigilator promptly reported the matter, and a misconduct case was filed against Parghi.

In Junagadh city and Keshod, similar cheating attempts were made by students from Cambridge High School, BS Public School, and Sigma Group of Schools. These individuals were also caught and have been charged accordingly.

Fortunately, the 10th class Basic Mathematics question paper was textbook-based and considered easy by the majority of students. Additionally, the General Section of Economics in the 12th class exam featured mostly textbook questions, resulting in a 'zero' cheating rate for the 12th examination.
