ChatGPT Plus Subscription Debuts in India

New Delhi, March 17 – Microsoft-owned OpenAI has officially launched ChatGPT Plus, its advanced text-generating AI subscription service, in India. The announcement comes following the recent release of GPT-4, the latest and most advanced iteration of the company's AI model.

OpenAI took to Twitter to share the news, stating that Indian customers can now gain early access to new features, including the much-awaited GPT-4. This improved version of the AI model offers greater reliability, creativity, and the ability to handle complex instructions compared to its predecessor, GPT-3.5.

GPT-4 outshines existing large language models (LLMs) and even state-of-the-art (SOTA) models that may employ benchmark-specific construction or additional training methods. ChatGPT Plus subscribers can benefit from early access to GPT-4 and other new features.

Originally launched in the US in February, ChatGPT Plus is available for a monthly subscription fee of $20. Subscribers enjoy using ChatGPT during peak hours, faster response times, and priority access to new features and improvements. For those who prefer not to subscribe, OpenAI continues to offer a free version of ChatGPT with some limitations. The free ChatGPT experience can also be accessed through Bing search.
