Surat Municipality House Owners Upset Over Rental of Housing
Surat - There has been an uproar in the Vesu area of Surat Municipality after the original owners of Suman Malhar Awas, a housing complex built by the municipality, expressed their displeasure over tenants renting out the houses. The beneficiaries are angry with the tenants for not following the rule that prohibits renting out the houses of the municipality. The original owners of Suman Malhar Awas have threatened to take legal action against the tenants and even disconnect their electricity connection if they do not vacate the premises.
Despite the municipality's stipulation that housing cannot be rented for seven years, some owners have been renting out the houses in violation of the rules. According to residents, some tenants are threatening the peace and security of the building and engaging in anti-social activities.

Instructions have been given to the owners who have taken houses on rent against the rules to vacate the tenancy before March 15.
The people living in the residence have also threatened to disconnect the electricity connection of the tenant's house from March 16 if the municipality or the police do not take action and the landlord does not vacate the house.
