According to Umeshbhai Zhadfia, President of the Surat Party Plot Association, the unseasonal rains have dealt a severe blow to the industry. "Party plot managers have suffered huge losses," he lamented. "Those who had booked the party plot have decided to cancel the event for 3 days due to rain."
The damage extends beyond cancellations, with strong winds causing extensive damage to party plot decorations. Entrance gates, pavilions, and chairs have been destroyed, leaving organizers with the daunting task of repair and cleanup.
