Army chopper crashes in Arunachal Pradesh, 2 pilots missing

A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army crashed in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday morning during an operational sortie. The incident was reported at around 9:15 a.m. when the chopper lost contact with the Air Traffic Control. According to Army PRO at Guwahati, Lt. Col. Mahendra Rawat, the chopper might have crashed near Manadala, west of Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh. The pilot and co-pilot on board are missing, and a search operation has been launched.
