ISRO's LVM3 Rocket to Launch 36 Satellites for OneWeb on March 26

Chennai - OneWeb, a UK-based satellite communications company backed by India's Bharti Group, announced that 36 of its low earth orbit satellites will be launched on March 26 by the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) LVM3 rocket.
With the successful launch, OneWeb's Gen 1 constellation will be completed, covering global locations including India. The second batch of 36 satellites will be launched by the ISRO's rocket at 9 a.m. Indian time on March 26.
OneWeb currently has 582 satellites in orbit, and the upcoming launch will mark its 18th. NSIL, the commercial arm of ISRO, had signed a contract with OneWeb to launch 72 satellites in two phases for a fee of over Rs 1,000 crore last October.
