Surat ST Division Earnings Soar During Diwali Festival

Surat ST Division is earning more revenue this Diwali festival season due to the increased number of passengers. The division is directly benefiting from the lack of train facilities from Surat to other cities of the state.

Today, 1000 buses will leave Surat for other cities of the state. In the last two days, the ST department has earned Rs 38.88 lakh.

According to the information, there are 320 group bookings on Friday, November 10. Of these, 140 are online bookings and the rest are existing bookings. Bookings are still being taken. Due to this, there is a plan to run 1000 buses a day from Dharukawala College ground in Kapodra.

Surat ST earned Rs 38.88 lakh in the last two days alone. A total of 11394 passengers were registered in this. 154 trips of buses were made in two days. The highest number of journeys were from Jhalod and Dahod districts, with 4600 pilgrims registered. The buses will cover a total distance of 73381 km in 154 trips.
