Gujarat State Road and Transport Department Inaugurates New Buses for Diwali
Five sleeper coaches and 20 seater buses to facilitate the travel of the citizens
Gujarat State Road and Transport Department (GSRTC) formally inaugurated and flagged off five sleeper coaches and 20 seater buses to facilitate the travel of the citizens keeping in mind the Diwali festival. State Home and Transport Minister Harsh Sanghvi flagged off the buses at Gandhinagar ST Depot.
Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said that the State Road and Transport Department is continuously making efforts to make the journey of the people pleasant. He also congratulated the ST employees performing their duties during the festivals and expressed his gratitude for performing their duties during the festivals for the convenience of the people.
Gandhinagar North MLA Ritaben Patel, Mansa MLA JS Patel, Gandhinagar Mayor Hiteshbhai Makwana, District Panchayat President Shilpaben Patel, Deputy Mayor Premal Singh Gol, MD of Gujarat ST Corporation N.A. Gandhi and employees of Gandhinagar ST depot were present on the occasion.
The new buses will be operated on various routes across the state, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar. The sleeper coaches will provide a more comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers, especially during the long journey.
The GSRTC is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation to the people of Gujarat. The inauguration of new buses is a step in this direction.
