Surat Chamber of Commerce to Host Textile Fair in Dallas

The Surat Chamber of Commerce is set to host the second edition of its textile exhibition in the city of Dallas, USA, on 27-29 April. The event will feature traders of ethnic wear, wedding wear, bedsheets, curtains, home furnishing, and sarees, providing weavers and traders associated with Surat's textile industry with an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills on an international platform.

The exhibition is being organized with the aim of tapping into the US textile industry's estimated market of $400 billion, with imports worth $100 billion. The event will have two types of stalls, 3" x 3" and 3" x 6", specifically designed for the textile industry, with nominal pricing to cater to the MSME industry.

During a recent roadshow, the Indian Textile Trade Fair (ITTF) was launched, and information about the trade fair was provided. The exhibition is supported by the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, the Gwinnett Chamber, and the entire Gujarati community in the US.

Present at the roadshow were Chamber Vice President Ramesh Vaghasia, Honorary Minister Bhavesh Taylor, Honorary Treasurer Bhavesh Gadhiya, Exhibition President Bijal Jariwala, Chamber Leader Mayur Golwala, and Consulate Liaison Committee Chairman Harshal Bhagat. Traders associated with the textile industry were also present, and on-spot registrations for stall booking were conducted.
