The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested a habitual criminal involved in vehicle theft, Hitesh Kutarmal Jain was caught stealing an Activa from different areas of Ahmedabad and was apprehended from the Shahibaug area of the city.

Jain was previously arrested in a total of 79 offenses of vehicle theft. Along with him, a total of 1 lakh 35 thousand, as well as 6 stolen Activas, were seized. During the interrogation, the police were able to solve seven different crimes.

The arrest was made by the team of PI of Crime Branch, G. Solanki, following the instructions of the Joint Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad Crime Branch and Deputy Commissioner of Police.

During further questioning, the police were able to seize 6 assets with an estimated value of 1 lakh 35 thousand from Jain. The police were also able to solve seven different cases by interrogating him.

This arrest is expected to be a significant breakthrough in the fight against vehicle theft in Ahmedabad.
