Surat Celebrates National Unity Day with 'National Unity Run'
Over 3,000 People Participate in 3 km Run to Promote Unity and Integrity
Surat celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with a 'National Unity Run' organized by the Surat City Police and Municipal Corporation. Over 3,000 people, including policemen, Nehru Yuva Kendra youth, school students, and citizens, participated in the 3 km run, which started from the Police Parade Ground and went to Sargam Shopping Center before returning.
Surat City Mayor Dakshesh Mavani, Deputy Mayor Dr. Narendra Patil, Magistrate Dharmesh Vaniyawala, Standing Committee Chairman Rajan Patel, Municipal Commissioner Shalini Agarwal, Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Tomar, and Surat District Development Officer B.K. Vasava inaugurated the rally.

Policemen participated in the rally carrying banners with slogans like Cyber Safe Surat and No Drugs in Surat. Surat Rural Superintendent of Police Hitesh Joysar and other officers also participated in the rally.
All participants took the oath of national unity and pledged to be committed to the unity, integrity, and security of the country.
The National Unity Run was a successful event that promoted unity and integrity among the people of Surat. It was also a reminder of the importance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's role in uniting the country.
