Rahul Dravid praises India's

India's head coach Rahul Dravid praised his team's ability to find players who could deliver special performances when needed during their 2-1 Border-Gavaskar Trophy triumph against Australia. Dravid highlighted the contributions of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Shubman Gill throughout the series. He also praised the team's fighting spirit and their willingness to take responsibility in tough situations.

India's qualification for the World Test Championship final for the second consecutive time was another highlight of the series for Dravid. He revealed that the team had been keeping a close eye on proceedings in Christchurch, where New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by two wickets on the last ball to help India qualify. Dravid acknowledged the logistical challenges of playing the final just a week after the IPL final and praised Australia's spin troika of Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kuhnemann.

Dravid also expressed his happiness with Shubman Gill's progress, especially after the young opener's sparkling 128 in Ahmedabad. He praised Gill's ability to learn from experienced players like Kohli and Rohit Sharma and said that it was a great opportunity for him to grow as a player.
