Farmers in Gujarat are worried about their crops once again as the Meteorological Department has forecasted unseasonal rains and thunderstorms from March 13 to 15 in North Gujarat, South Gujarat, and Saurashtra. Just a few days ago, crops were damaged due to unseasonal rains in the state. The possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds has also been forecasted during this period.
Districts Affected by the Forecasted Unseasonal Rains
As per the forecast, Banaskantha, Patan, and Mehsana of North Gujarat may witness rain, while Dang, Valsad, Navsari, Tapi, and Dahod of South Gujarat may also experience unseasonal rains. Bhavnagar, Amreli, and Kutch of Saurashtra are also predicted to receive rain. Additionally, there is a possibility of cloudy weather in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar of Central Gujarat.

Farmers are concerned about crop failure due to unseasonal rains once again, which could lead to financial losses for them. Although the country is entering a period of heat, the Western Disturbance can still affect the weather.
