Surat, 28 October: The Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) media committee convenor Dinesh Navadiya announced on Saturday that 11 different committees have been formed to improve the administrative management at SDB and prepare for the formal inauguration of SDB by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17th December.
The committees are as follows:
- Finance Committee
- Discipline and Grievance Redressal Committee
- Legal Committee
- IT, ICT Committee
- Customs Committee
- Lease and Auction Committee
- Administration and Human Resources Committee
- Security House Keeping, Media and Visitors Committee
- Member Relations Committee
Navadiya also announced the following appointments:
- Vallabhbhai Patel - President, Surat Diamond Burse
- Nagji Sakariya - Chairman, Management Committee
- Hitesh Patel and Ashesh Doshi - Vice Presidents
- Maheshbhai Vaghani and Manishbhai Jiwani - Joint Secretaries
- Tulsi Bhai Monpara - Treasurer
The committees will work on a variety of tasks, including improving the administrative efficiency of SDB, ensuring the smooth inauguration by PM Modi, and resolving any grievances of members.
The formation of the committees is a positive step towards improving the operations of SDB and making it a world-class diamond bourse. It is also a sign that the SDB is committed to providing its members with the best possible support and services.
