Gujarat Signs Rs 7,459 Crore MoUs with Real Estate Developers

Gandhinagar, October 25: The Gujarat government on Wednesday signed MoUs worth Rs 7,459.68 crore with eight real estate developers for commercial and residential projects in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat. The MoUs were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

The MoUs are part of the state government's efforts to attract investment and boost development in the three major cities. The projects are expected to create employment opportunities for about 4,750 people.

The projects include the construction of commercial buildings, high-rise residential complexes and mixed-use projects. The projects are expected to be completed by 2026-2028.

The state government has also made special provisions for the construction of skyrise buildings and buildings more than 100 meters high in the five major cities of the state. This is expected to lead to the construction of more full-fledged corporate buildings and high-rise commercial projects in these cities.

The MoUs signed on Wednesday are a significant development for the three cities. The projects are expected to boost commercial and residential development and create new employment opportunities.

List of MoUs signed:

  • Ahmedabad: Rs 6,601 crore
  • Surat: Rs 450 crore
  • Vadodara: Rs 410 crore
