Aadi Mahotsav cum National Tribal Festival to Begin in Ahmedabad on October 25

New Delhi: Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda will inaugurate the Aadi Mahotsav cum National Tribal Festival in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on October 25. The festival will be organized under the aegis of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED) of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs from October 25 to November 3 at Ahmedabad Haat, Vastrapur.

The festival will showcase India's tribal culture, craftsmanship, culinary artistry, and economic efforts. Over 100 stalls will be set up to display handicrafts, handlooms, pottery, jewellery, food grains, organic and craft items, and tribal cuisine.

Dangi cuisine will be a major attraction at the festival. There will also be 15 stalls dedicated to Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK), which will have products prepared from mushrooms, Mahua flowers, Nagali millet, mango pickles, bamboo items, and wild honey.

MP Ramilaben Bara and Tribal Development Minister of Gujarat Government Dr. Kuber Bhai Dindor besides senior officials of TRIFED will be present at the inauguration ceremony.

The Aadi Mahotsav is a national tribal festival that is organized every year to promote and celebrate the rich culture and heritage of India's tribal communities. The festival provides a platform for tribal artisans and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services to a wider audience.
