Piyush Goyal says Bharat Tex 2024 will project India as a global superpower in the textile sector
New Delhi, October 21: Union Textiles, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday said that the 'Bharat Tex 2024' exhibition to be held in February next year will project India as a global superpower in the textile sector.
Goyal said this while presiding over the program related to Expo at Vanijya Bhawan in the capital New Delhi. On this occasion he launched the website of Kasturi Cotton India https://kasturicotton.texprosil.org.
"Bharat Mandapam or Yasho Bhoomi will indeed give a big boost to our endeavor to make India a global destination in the textile sector. This program is going to truly establish India as a global textile superpower," Goyal said.
"There is no better platform than Bharat Tex 2024 to show the world that India's time has come. This event will be remembered for generations to come as a benchmark that recognized India as a truly global platform in the textile sector," he added.
Bharat Tex 2024 will be the world's largest textile show, bringing together exhibitors and buyers from over 40 countries under one roof. With over 1,000 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors, this mega event will include knowledge sessions, seminars and conferences, CEO roundtables, B2B and G2G meetings, besides strategic investment announcements, product launches and collaborations that will reshape the textile industry.
The event will be held from February 26-29, 2024, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
