Gujarat CM credits 'Team Gujarat' for the success of G20 meetings
CM says Gujarat has established a unique identity by organizing the G20 meetings very well
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given credit to 'Team Gujarat' for the stupendous success of the 17 different G20 meetings held in the state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the vision that any large-scale program can be successfully completed together.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing a meeting held in Gandhinagar on Friday with senior secretaries and officials of the departments involved in the success of G20 Gujarat Connect. He also released the G20 Gujarat Connect Report on the occasion.
Patel said that Gujarat has established a unique identity by organizing the G20 meetings very well. He expressed confidence that now, with this team spirit, everyone together will enhance the prestige of Gujarat.
Chief Secretary Raj Kumar said that G20 has, in a way, proved to be an event like rehearsal of Vibrant Summit-2024 for the administration. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Patel for the encouragement and guidance he has given by taking interest in organizing all the G20 meetings.
Kumar also said that Gujarat has made the G20 delegations realize that it is not only a developed state but also a leader in the hospitality sector. He suggested incorporating the experiences of G20 Connect as best practices in Vibrant-2024 and adopting them in Pre-Vibrant.
At the beginning of the meeting, Convenor of G20 event in Gujarat and Principal Secretary of Panchayat Department, Mona Khandhar welcomed everyone and highlighted the objective of the program. Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, former Mayor Kiritbhai Parmar and senior secretaries of the state government were present on the occasion.
