Rajkot, October 18: The Gujarat government will organize the first pre-summit event for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2024 in Rajkot on October 19. The pre-summit will be dedicated to the ceramic sector and will have the theme “Ceramacht: Placing Gujarat on the Global Map”.
The objective of the event is to bring together key stakeholders of the ceramic sector on one platform, attract investment into the sector, and explore growth opportunities in the ceramic, engineering, and machine tools industry.
Gujarat is a major player in the Indian ceramic industry, with Morbi district alone accounting for an annual turnover of Rs 50 thousand crore and annual export of Rs 15,000 crore.
The pre-summit event will have various themes such as Ceramics Outlook: Challenges, Opportunities, and Way Forward, Advanced Ceramics: New Age Applications and Future Potential, Emerging Trends in Engineering and Machine Tools Industry, and Developing Future-Ready Workforce in Engineering and Machine Tool Industry.
The event will be attended by Ministers, Members of Parliament, Assembly Members, industry leaders, innovators, and academicians.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is a prestigious global platform for investment exploration, business networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships. The 10th edition of the summit is scheduled to be held in January 2024.
