A 12-year-old boy was stabbed more than 10 times by a 17-year-old boy over a love triangle in Surat, Gujarat on Wednesday night. The victim is in critical condition at the New Civil Hospital.
The incident took place near Terenam Chowk in Pandesara area. The victim, who has not been named, had left his house to throw garbage when he was attacked by the 17-year-old boy. The attacker used a knife to stab the victim multiple times in the back, neck, chest, and hands.
The victim's mother told the police that she rushed her son to the hospital after finding him unconscious and bleeding. The 17-year-old attacker has been arrested by the Pandesara police.
Police said that the two boys were fighting over a girl who lives in the same locality. The attacker is a student of Class 12, while the victim is a student of Class 7.
The victim's condition is said to be critical, but he is stable. The police are investigating the incident.
