Surat's Dumas Beach Faces New Challenge: Stray Camels

Residents of Surat's Dumas Beach have been facing a new challenge with the presence of stray camels in the city. The issue was brought to the attention of the Municipal Corporation by locals who complained of possible attacks and bites by the camels.

Following the complaint, the Municipal Corporation's Market Department team sprung into action and successfully captured the stray camel from the Dumas beach area. Despite the efforts of the team, the capture of the camel proved to be a challenging task, even more so than capturing cattle.

According to reports, no information has been found regarding the owner of the camel. This incident comes after previous complaints of stray cattle and dogs in the city, which had prompted the Municipal Corporation to take action to capture and remove them from public areas.

In the case of the stray camels, the Municipal Corporation has alerted local residents to stay vigilant and report any further sightings or incidents to the authorities. With the growing problem of stray animals in the city, it remains to be seen how the Municipal Corporation will address the issue in the coming months.
