Four Youths Killed in Road Accident in Bharuch

Four youths were killed in a horrific road accident near a temple near Kelod village in Bharuch on Thursday evening. The deceased were residents of Koli Phalia of Sudi village of Amod tehsil. They were returning home from work at a showroom in Bharuch when a truck coming from the wrong direction hit their car hard.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. All four youths traveling in the car died. They have been identified as Mustaqeem Diwan, Sakir Yusuf Patel, Osama Rehman Patel, and Mahmad Maqsood Patel.

On receiving information about the incident, there was an uproar in Sudi village. A crowd of people gathered at the accident site. Police and ambulance were informed. Passersby took out the bodies of the youth trapped in the car.

According to police sources, the truck driver was taking the truck in the wrong direction despite the Jambusar to Bharuch road being a single strip road. After the accident, the truck driver left the truck and fled from the spot. Bharuch Rural Police has registered an FIR against the truck driver.

The deaths of the four youths have cast a pall of gloom over Sudi village. Their families are in a state of shock. The local administration has announced financial assistance to the families of the deceased.

Police are searching for the truck driver. They have appealed to the public to come forward with any information about the driver.
