Ahmedabad, October 12: Ahead of the most anticipated match of the ODI World Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) President Dhanraj Nathwani said that they are all set to host one of the most important tournaments.

"We at Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) are looking forward to one of the most important matches of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup to be played between India and Pakistan on October 14, 2023 at the world's largest Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium," Nathwani said in a statement.

"All preparations for the match have been made as per the standards set by the International Cricket Council (ICC), in collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). At GCA we are very proud to host the World Cup. We are grateful to the BCCI for hosting such an important match along with the opening match and the final match of the IPL," he added.

Nathwani also said that GCA is very proud to host the opening and final matches as well as the most important game of the ODI World Cup 2023.
