Gujarat CM Launches 'Donation at One Click' Portal to Accept Online Donations to Chief Minister's Relief Fund
Donors Get Auto-Generated E-Receipt, 80-G Certificate and Appreciation Letter from the Chief Minister
Gandhinagar : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday launched the 'Donation at One Click' portal to accept online donations to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Any person can contribute to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund by clicking on the online link on this portal operated by the Revenue Department of the State Government.
The portal is a convenient and easy way for people to donate to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Donors can make online contributions through different payment modes, including UPI platforms, debit-credit cards, internet banking, and QR code. After successful payment, the donor will immediately get an auto-generated e-receipt, 80-G certificate, and appreciation letter from the Chief Minister.
The State Government utilizes the donations received in the relief fund to assist needy people in the case of natural calamities, serious diseases, and accidents. Since September 2021, the government has provided a total of Rs 30.81 crore to 2085 people for the treatment of serious diseases and Rs 450 crore in cases of accidental death and injuries.
With the functioning of the online portal, any person from across the country and the world will be able to donate to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund through 'Donation at One Click' and will be able to help the government in helping such needy people.
I think the launch of the 'Donation at One Click' portal is a positive development. It will make it easier for people to donate to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and help the government in providing assistance to needy people.
