Rajkot : Gujarat BJP President CR Patil has once again set a lofty goal for the party in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. On Friday, he called upon workers in Rajkot to win all 26 Lok Sabha seats with a margin of 5 lakh votes.
Patil's announcement comes after the BJP's resounding victory in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, in which the party won 156 out of 182 seats. Patil had previously claimed that the BJP would win all 182 seats in the Assembly elections, but he was not able to achieve that goal.
Patil said that the people of Gujarat are showing confidence in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and that the party is determined to win all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He appealed to workers to pledge to win all 26 seats with a margin of more than 5 lakh votes.
Patil also said that the BJP will give opportunities to youth and women in the Lok Sabha elections. He pointed out that the party has 14 women MLAs and 6 women MPs from Gujarat.
Patil's announcement has been met with enthusiasm from BJP workers, who are confident of delivering a victory for the party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
